A national accounting and consulting firm was in the midst of a major Workday rollout across Human Resources and Finance. They had an implementation partner in place but lacked the internal resources to manage critical client-side responsibilities, including Payroll, HCM, and overall project coordination.
The Challenge
The firm needed experienced, hands-on support to guide internal teams, ensure key tasks stayed on track, and help their people understand how to get the most out of the Workday platform, both during implementation and after go-live.
The Planet Group Solution
We provided a seasoned Project Manager and two Subject Matter Experts focused on Payroll and Core HCM to support the firm through the launch. After go-live, we stayed engaged through ad hoc Application Management Services (AMS), helping troubleshoot issues, streamline operations, and guide internal teams on best practices.

Two additional Workday-certified consultants joined the effort, strengthening internal alignment and supporting a successful deployment. Our team also conducted a full tenant assessment of their Absence module—delivering more than 30 prioritized recommendations and a clear roadmap for optimization.
