Inclusion on the list marks the seventh consecutive year The Planet Group has been recognized as one of the Largest US Staffing Firms
WESTLAKE, OH (June 5, 2026) — The Planet Group, a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners and a leading global provider of strategic staffing and advisory services, was named by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) as one of the Largest US Staffing Firms.
To qualify as a Largest US Staffing Firm, agencies had to have generated at least $100 million in US staffing revenue in 2025. The Planet Group has also been recognized by SIA in the past as one of the Fastest Growing US Staffing Firms and one of the Largest Global Direct Hire Staffing Firms.
SIA bases the list on staffing revenue, which is calculated from temporary staffing, direct hire, retained search and temp-to-perm conversion fees. The Planet Group specializes in contract staffing, contract-to-hire, and direct hire in several high-growth areas, including:
- Technology, including Core IT, Enterprise Systems, Software Engineering & Quality Assurance, Workday, and Healthcare IT
- Engineering, Energy, Manufacturing, and Construction
- Accounting & Finance and Human Resources
- Creative and Digital and Marketing
According to SIA, the 214 staffing companies included on this year's list generated a combined $122.4 billion in US staffing revenue last year which represents 68.5% of the market.
