Lorenz Pestinger serves as Chief Financial Officer of The Planet Group, responsible for leading the firm’s global finance organization and driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and long-term value creation. Lorenz brings more than 15 years of cross-departmental leadership experience in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific to The Planet Group, giving him a unique ability to bridge business and finance in ways that drive performance and impact.

Lorenz’s approach as CFO is shaped by a foundation outside of traditional finance, with previous leadership roles in corporate development, research, talent acquisition, marketing, technology, and operations. He is passionate about building performance-driven cultures and creating impact across the organization by aligning financial strategy with business execution.

Prior to joining The Planet Group, Lorenz served as Executive Vice President of Finance & Strategy at DHR Global, a global executive search and talent advisory firm. As a key member of the executive leadership team, he played a pivotal role in enhancing the firms’ operations and achieving significant growth.  

Lorenz holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, and strategic management. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Lewis University.
